SOLD: HK-305A 1904 Louisiana Purchase Octagonal Souvenir Coin SCD

This is the very scarce variety without a serial number in the exergue. Only two have been certified by NGC. The official “Souvenir Coin of Admission” from the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in St. Louis, Missouri. Crowned bust of Louis IX on the obverse, similar to the design on the Isabella Quarter. Both the obverse and the reverse state this is a “Souvenir Coin”.
