SOLD: HK-328A 1905 Lewis and Clark 34mm SCD

Near TOP POP, finest is three in 63. This is HK 328A, what NGC labels “Silvered” as it is Silver-Plated. The obverse die is almost the same as that used for (SH 14-2), but it does differ in minor ways besides the addition of the date, 1905. The reverse die is the same as that of (SH 14-2) except for the softening of some details through die polishing. Struck by Joseph Mayer and Brothers of Seattle. Plain edge, medal orientation.
