The obverse features the bust of Admiral Robley D. Evans, known as “Fighting Bob”. He was Captain of the first ship that fired a gun against the Spaniard’s in Spanish American War of 1898. Heritage sold this piece graded as AU 55 for $153. This piece is the type II variety.
