Near TOP POP, only two graded finer by NGC. Previously sold by Paul Koppenhaver in the 1980’s, his envelope from the sale is included. The obverse features the bust of Admiral Robley D. Evans, known as “Fighting Bob”. He was Captain of the first ship that fired a gun against the Spaniard’s in Spanish American War of 1898.
