This is the exceptionally scarce Gold-Plated variety, with a removed loop as all of the Gold-Plated are known made with loops. Graded Uncirculated details, loop removed. U.S. Mint die engraver George T. Morgan designed the official medal based on Adelaide Hanscomb’s official logo and the Seattle City Seal. The medals were struck at the exposition by the U.S. Mint and sold through Joseph Mayer & Brothers of Seattle. Medal orientation.
