A GEM BU nearly perfect specimen. The SH 16-14 has the two lower branches of the tree pointing to the SK of ALASKA, struck with a reeded edge. The “SK” variety is considerably scarcer than the “KA” 16-13 type. Schwaab Stamp and Seal of Milwaukee was a major producer of souvenir medals and badges for U.S. expositions. They produced a stock image of the official logo and Government Building using a couple of dies with minor differences with reeded and plain edges, looped, and as a uniface fob.
