SOLD: HK-357 1909 AYPE Official Souvenir SCD – Unlisted “STERLING” Silver

This is the HK-357 design but the reverse is stamped “STERLING”, and it has been beautifully enameled. The obverse features the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition logo medal with an official souvenir reverse signed by the AYPE President and Director General. The majority of medals struck with this die pair are fobs. Several fobs share the same reverse but are not marked “STERLING”. The fobs were produced by Joseph Mayer & Bros. jewelry company in Seattle. Medal orientation.
