Struck in GOLD, the size of a gold dollar. One of the M.E. Hart Gold series issued at the 1915 PPIE by Mary E. Hart and sold by Farren Zerbe. Obverse features a miner standing with a pick over his shoulder, ALASKA GOLD above, A.Y.P.E. below, 19 to the left and 09 to the right. Reverse has a shield with “1” above and “D.W.T.” below. Issued by M.E. Hart of San Francisco and struck in 10K gold. R5 according to the H&K book with 76 to 200 known.
