This is the variety without MED. ART CO. on the edge. Thomas Elder, a coin dealer from New York, had these struck for the 1909 Hudson Fulton Celebration. Pattern by French sculptor J.E. Roine and struck by Medallic Art Company. This variety does not have “Med Art Co.” on the edge. The HK 369 and 369A have about the same rarity, as there are 17 and 19 certified of each type. This particular piece is BU with slight edge bump at the 9:00 position.
