Near TOP POP, only two graded finer in 64. The U.S. Mint also struck medals depicting the U.S Government Building, using both the obverse and reverse dies of the official medal. This slab is mis-labeled HK-364A, but it is actually HK-366A. This variety is paired with the official medal obverse die. According to the November 1909 issue of The Numismatist “This medal is of a double official character, as it was not only authorized by the Exposition, but was struck by the U.S. Government in its exhibit.” The reverse die was likely created by Morgan as well. On the reverse there are six short flags above the building on the left and five on the right.
