A really exciting copper variety, and the finest example of this SCD that I have ever seen, an exceptional GEM, a monster of a medal. Absolutely perfect surfaces and extraordinary red color, like the day it was minted. Engraved by George Morgan, the official medals were struck in the U.S. Mint exhibit at the exposition. A full figure female is holding a wreath over the Ohio Valley with a steamboat on the Ohio River behind her.
