At the bottom on the left ribbon, microscopic W & H CO; on the right ribbon, NEWARK N.J. The book So-Called Dollars from the Pacific Coast Expositions has macro photos of the original and restrike Alabama State die varieties. The restrikes are lacquered; the originals are not. 1963 restrike.
