This is a very scarce variety. There are only 5 certified by NGC, and this is one of the five. Only one is uncirculated, the remaining four are XF and AU, this one is AU 55 BN. The Kentucky State seal is on the obverse, microscopic signature Robbins Co Attleboro near the bottom. This common reverse was used for five different PPIE State Fund so-called dollars and features a ship with large sails passing through the Panama Canal with rays of light emanating behind the ship, legend above “The Land Divided” below “The World United”. Struck in bronze.
