SOLD: HK-409A SP 1915 PPIE Montana State SCD – Silver-Plated

This is the very difficult to find Silver-Plated variety. Winged Victory or Nike stands on the prow of a ship, the exposition buildings can be seen in the background behind her. The Montana State Seal is on the reverse. Some are edge marked “Robbins Co / Attleboro”, this one is! The Montana State so-called dollars are found with a variety of bronze finishes, similar to the variety of finishes found on the official PPIE medal.
