This is the previously unlisted COPPER variety. None have been certified by NGC, a rarity for sure. Graded by NGC AU details damaged. The damage is a small nick in the obverse field at 3:00.
There are quite a few different dies and die pairings for the “California Dollars”. This Battleship die with no lower portholes is found paired with all three of the Tower of Jewels die varieties. This is the Type C variety. Copper, the dies are unsigned.
