It is very unusual to see errors on So-Called Dollars, as they were not produced in large quantities like U.S. coins. This medal has a lamination error, with metal missing across his ear diagonally. Struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Cyrus Hall McCormick’s invention of the reaper. Obverse depicts male bust of Cyrus Hall McCormick. Reverse has scene depicting two men, one mounted using horse drawn reaper. Struck in Bronze.
