Near TOP POP, almost 200 graded and only 5 finer. There are seven varieties of the 1940 Petroleum Dollar. SH 23-25.5 as designated on the slab. This is the “pointed star, no touching” obverse with the “IT centered” reverse. On the obverse is a large oil well centered. The reverse has text explaining the values of petroleum products.
