E.E. Hensley of San Francisco had this commemorative medal struck for the GGIE, with large golden gates that swing open to a view of the Golden Gate. Coin orientation. Hensley struck a similar medal, SH 18-11, in 1915 for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Most likely this medal was engraved and struck by Irvine & Jachens for Hensley as was the 1915 PPIE Exposition SCD. In the upper left quadrant is a copyright by E.E. Hensley S.F.
