This original design was re-used by the ANA for their 58th Convention Medal held in San Francisco the same year, 1949. Obverse features a covered wagon drawn by oxen. Very high relief. Reverse has a minor’s pan with crossed pick and shovel. Nameplate badge with a blue American Numismatic Association 58th Anniversary ribbon, struck in pewter.
