TOP POP, 5 graded in 65, none finer. This is an extremely rare 1950 California Uniface Statehood Centennial Octagonal slug. The obverse features a design similar to the obverse of the 1851 Augustus Humbert $50 gold slug. The reverse is blank. According to the Hibler and Kappen book, only 10 to 12 were made. Of course that number is incorrect and way too low as 49 have been certified by NGC.
