The Space Needle was and continues to be a monumental attraction which was built for the Seattle World’s Fair, extending on giant tripod legs supporting a 250-person restaurant and observation deck which revolves 360 degrees each hour. Medal orientation. The obverse depicts an aerial view of the exposition grounds with the Space Needle prominent in the center. On the reverse is the official logo of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. All are edge marked THE METAL ARTS CO. INC., ROCH., N.Y. Silver are also marked .999 silver.
