SOLD: 2025 Fellowship Gathering #12 – ERROR overstruck on a 1962 Seattle Worlds Fair Official SCD

Overstruck off-center on a 1962 Seattle Worlds Fair Exposition Official SCD SH 25-1 bronze. The under design clearly shows through. A fascinating error struck by Daniel Carr. Only five of these errors were struck and only one is left. The obverse die is the actual die that was used to strike the 1959 Hawaii Statehood Hula Girl So-Called Dollars, HK-548-551. Dan Carr created a reverse die for the 12th Fellowship Gathering. They were struck in six different metal compositions including: silver, silver with select gold-plating, copper, copper with select gold-plating, brass and aluminum. Anyone that wants to purchase a complete set for $310 gets the copper piece for free, a $20 savings.
