TOP POP. Struck by the U.S. Mint in the Treasury Department exhibit at the Exposition. The U.S. Mint struck this U.S. Government Building medal using the reverse die from the official medal as the obverse. The obverse die was engraved by George Morgan and the reverse die was likely created by Morgan as well. Medal orientation. The three U.S. Mint dies used for (SH 16-1, 16-2 & 16-3) are not found paired with any other exposition dies.
