Microscopic “Lovett” for George H. Lovett on Washington’s bust truncation. Shaking hands are in the center on the reverse with “Union” above and “Forever” below. Often attributed to Robert Lovett Sr., the authors are crediting George H. Lovett for its production, using a Washington punch or hub likely created by Robert Lovett Sr.
