Soley’s Seated Liberty design is paired with his scrolls reverse. The scrolls reverse is found paired with almost all of Soley’s dies and only one of Key’s dies. Scott Stamp & Coin Company, in their October 27, 1879 auction, lot #688, sold a copper version and reported that only two of these medals were struck.
