Two females, one standing and one seated looking at each other are shaking hands, likely representing the east meeting the west, a staff with a cap atop representing freedom separates them. The seated female on the right is holding a cornucopia which has hundreds of gold coins flowing out of it. The reverse is a view of the San Francisco Bay with the sun setting in the golden gate in the distance, microscopic Patent Pending at the bottom.
