THIS WAS THE FIRST SO-CALLED DOLLAR THAT I OWNED. I BOUGHT IT RAW AT A LOCAL AUCTION, NOT REALLY KNOWING WHAT SO-CALLED DOLLARS WERE. I SENT IT IN TO NGC FOR GRADING WITH SOME OTHER SUBMISSIONS, AND IT CAME BACK MS 65!!!
I DID A LITTLE MORE RESEACH AND POSTED THIS MEDAL ON EBAY. I SOLD IT FOR 10 TIMES WHAT I PAID FOR IT IN THE LOCAL AUCTION. I WAS HOOKED!!!
I CAN TRACE MY ENTIRE COLLECTION BACK TO THAT SMALL LOCAL AUCTION AROUND 10 YEARS AGO!!!!
I NOW OWN ANOTHER HK-399 PCGS GRADED MS 65, BUT THE FIRST ONE IS STILL A LOT MORE SPECIAL TO ME.
