New Haven Soldier's and Sailors Monument Posts

Struck in 1887, this monument (currently located in East Rock Park) honors the residents of New Haven CT who gave their lives in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican War, and the Civil War. It is 112 feet (34 m) high and 87 steps to the top.
