HK-689A Wolfeville Western Days Silver

The standard dialogue with unreported unlisted Silver varieties is that it must be a plated piece made after striking. In the case of the HK-689A silver Wolfeville Western Day pieces this is not the case. The silver Pieces were made as presentation and award pieces for the Main Event Rodeo. A large Die A Gram is pictured here o show the differences in the Dies as a totally different Die was used for the Silver Pieces at the time of striking. The presentation pieces dies were handcrafted to coin standards while the souvenir pieces did not have the same craftmanship
