Here is a Pedley Ryan Dollar that is possibly/probably unique or a very early Trial Piece. What first makes it unique is that it is the only piece to use the ampersand {&} in place of the {-} in between the Pedley & Ryan names. Secondly it makes no use of the word Co as on the other pieces. Thirdly it is the only specimen to put the names Pedley & Ryan on two separate lines.
I would guess that since the SO Called Dollar reference book narrates office employees using hand punches to make these pieces
that this is an early piece when they were deciding how to lay it out. My guess is that this is an R-9 piece since I don't find any references to this piece or other pieces on the Internet.
