Near TOP POP, only four certified finer. This is the “no star” variety. Stuck in copper. The smaller Liberty Bell no star variety is considerably scarcer than the star variety. Struck from totally different but similar dies, notably the no star variety has hash marks or denticles along the perimeter whereas the star variety has a beaded
border. Planchet thicknesses vary. Several different minor die varieties exist, most noticeably in the spacing between the letters in ALL. Issued by John Kline.
