The smaller Liberty Bell no star variety is considerably scarcer than the star variety. Struck from totally different but similar dies, notably the no star variety has hash marks along the perimeter whereas the star variety has a beaded border. Planchet thicknesses vary. Several different minor die varieties exist, most noticeably in the spacing between the letters in “ALL”. Issued by John Kline.
